We also offer one on one training for staff for shops, restaurants, and private homes. We are open to the public and the private sector. We offer classes from BSIS, USCCA, & NRA gun classes. We offer Gun cards and renewals. Refresher classes for security officers and security clinics for security companies such as evaluations, recommendations, and one on one refresher training for supervisors and security officers. We have a package deal for OC/ Pepper Spray and handcuffs." 

     Welcome to Scottish Kights Protection Academy, my name is Brent Smillie, and I am the owner. I have been in the security field for close to 30 years. I have worked in every field of security and in the profession, it has evolved into. My experience includes but is not limited to firearms, weapons training, Government facilities, private events, Temples, schools, dispensaries, shopping centers, solar farm sites, and much more.  I have also worked as a shift supervisor (Sergeant for Northrup Grumman), post commander, training manager, and assistant branch manager for large companies, and Departments of Defense training with tactical training in ANTI-TERRORISM. My goals are to share, train, and update the current and next generation of security officers. As well as all aspects of firearms safety, and promote responsible gun ownership for both men and women who wish to learn about the latest in self-defense, in regards to the use of all firearms. We are open to the public as well, not just security officers. I am both NRA and USCCA certified instructor.  Our classes are maybe small, but very detailed. Come join us and make an appointment and experience a class or two with an instructor who loves what he does and is willing to take the time necessary to install such important knowledge and experience.
